Somebody Push Play.

I am paused,
As if someone has interrupted me.
I am waiting.
Hanging there like a loose piece of thread.
I am paused,
As if someone just gave me shocking news,
I am still.
Standing there like heavy weight on thin ice.
I am paused,
As if I don't know where to go,
Waiting there like a compass till it finds direction.
I am paused.
Do I need to rewind?
Do I need to fast-forward?
What if  I accidentally stop?
I just need to find a way to play.
Or will someone do it for me?
