Lately in my head, OCD has two definitions:
First: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder {guilty}. Second:
Obsessive Cleaning/Creating and Design. {thinking huh? read on!}
Obsessive Cleaning/Creating and Design. {thinking huh? read on!}
The other day my sister pointed out to me how every six months-{ish} I like to change up my room. No, not a whole make over. But I'll move photo frames from one wall to another, change my make-up brush holder, or add a small piece. Whether that piece is a lamp, a memory collage- which I LOVE making- and many a times I am asked how I made them. If I can do it, you sure can too.
I personally think changing things up in a room is in a way a necessity. It just helps keep things different, interesting, and it helps me to have something to look forward to seeing in my "new" room! {and helps me stay sane thanks to OCD} Sometimes, it's less than six months.
I don't know what it is, but once I start cleaning one part of my room, I have to do the ENTIRE room, even if it doesn't need tidying-up...I'll bust out the good 'ol Pledge & Windex just so I can clean more. {How crazy do I sounds right now?} Today, I decided to reorganize my entire bookshelf. Moved stuff from one shelf to another, and organized all of my nail polish. I'm also super-duper excited because I got to add a new nail polish today! Essie's Hors D'oeuvres, which I cannot wait to use! This took the longest....{maybe it's my OCD talking}. But the lines had to be perfect!

I think I still need more colors. HAHA!

Here are some more recent additions/changes to my room. Enjoy!

I took the hats I wear during winter & summer to the top of my full-length mirror in a straight row {just using thumbtacks} This didn't only add a bit of 'decor' but a place to put my hats too!

These photos used to be above my desk but I moved them to this wall so you can see them right when you enter. {I painted them to match my bedspread} {Dark Purple & Silver}

I love, love, love, love, LOVE my desk. It's spacious I feel the glass makes it look bigger, and adds to the room, making my room look bigger {not that it isn't already big}.

Above my desk are 2 of the 'memory collages' I have made. I hope to do an DIY for these because my friends always ask me how I did it! The best part: It's super easy.
If I add anymore, I won't have anything else to talk about later on! & there's still much of my room you haven't seen!!
Sincerely,
