Lethal Label

They gave me a label?

My entire purpose was snatched.

And yet, my words were defined as lethal

They thought my strengths were all just a tale.

They gave up on me and left me detached.

They gave me a label?

They questioned me and my ethics scale.

They made me feel I was bewitched.

They gave me a label?

Right when I thought, I had won their hearts, I had to bail

They said all of a sudden I was unfit, unmatched. 

They gave me a label?

They made me believe it was because I am different?

They made me feel I was indfferent

They gave me a label?

What could I have done to avail?

What could could have preveted this derail?

They gave me a label?

And yet my words were defined as lethal.
