Day 13: Random Words Playing onto the Page
A lot of what is in the poem relates to
feelings/emotions felt throughout my day yesterday.
Damn D
D has dampened my Day
and got me in the Dumps
and got me in the Dumps
Dark and Down
Death dangles
Drained-
Disaster does Descend
Don't doubt the
Daybreak and Daylights
Daydreams and Daffodils
Desire and Drive to do the Determined.
During our Days-
Devote, Drown, Dazzle, Dream, just
Don't Doubt Death.
Dabble in the Daring and Dangerous.
Don't forget to Devour the Desserts that are our days.
Don't dwell.
Diverge in Direction
Take a Dare and Drive
or Dive.
Dine and Dash
Doodle in your Diary
Be a Darling not a Diva
So, delete all the Dialogue.
Don't Disgrace
Defeat the Depriciator
Donn Designer Dress
Detox your Deeds
Diagnose the disasters
Don't Destroy the Dawn
Don't Disregard that
Death Drags in the Darkness
Don't Deliberate and Debate
that Death will Delay.
as Death Does not Doubt.
Sincerely,
Aishah
Dear me--that was damn good!
ReplyDeleteDarn tootin'! Good job! A favorite line: "Don't forget do devour the dessert that are our days." Sort of like carpe diem! Thank you. xoA
ReplyDeleteAisha, this took my breath away - such sustained alliteration that actually makes sense! My yesterday was a bit like that.
ReplyDeleteoooooh, devilishly good! (sorry, couldn't resist). I so enjoyed this! Well done! :)
ReplyDelete"Devote, Drown, Dazzle, Dream, just
ReplyDeleteDon't Doubt Death."
Love that. And the last line is awesome.
