New Experiences, Many Differences

This month was without a doubt, a new experience

From last year, there is a lot of difference

I was eager to change to style of my writing,

to challenge myself, and discover other hidden talents that I may have.

But this journey was not easy,

my poems started out with a positive vibe,

reaching for stars, which I felt was never too far

so I continued to type. 

But then, in a twist of fate, as I endured obstacles

I started to question if anything was possible.

my writing became a bit darker, more secrets hidden within the words I wrote. 

This is more than just a note,

This a poem about my journey.

I admit I had days where I felt loved as I read comments from other writers,

I was excited every morning to read the new prompt

I gained strength to be a fighter.

And life will soon begin to a bit brighter.
